Default 89 Fox 6.0 w/ 88mm Turbo

I have been a longtime lurker on this board, I figured its time to start posting. I've learned a lot of things from this site. I have always had a thing for Fox body mustangs, after messing around with all the possible toys a guy could have, I finally started on mine. I am going the turbo route with this car, going to be starting on that part of the build in the coming weeks. Parts are coming in... Not really shooting for a specific HP range, looking more for sub 9.90 track times, and maybe cause some hurt feeling when cruising around.

I'll try to keep this thread updated as much as I can, once I start its going to go fast. Hoping to have it done in time for TX2K, but we will see how things go.

As it sits right now:

89 Mustang
6.0 LQ4
TSP 233/239 cam
TSP Pushrods
PRC Springs
LS2 timing chain
Jake's Performance Stage 1 TH350
Jake's 4000 Stall
3.73 gears

Car has been low 12s on this setup.

Ohh yeah that is on the list, as well as smoked tails.

Had to get out the hammer to do a little massaging for 28x10.5x15 MTs

Since you're listing parts, you'll need injectors and almost definitely a set of head studs...

grab some 60lb or 80lb Deka injectors and head studs from Alpermotorsports off ebay...

I'm also unsure that th-350 will survive a few passes at 9.90...

I'll be following the build, as my buddy is just now tearing his 5.3 down to put into his fox as well with an S480... should be on the road by late spring...

I have ARP head studs. Will order Injectors in the next few weeks, forgot to mention going to run E85 as it is cheap around here. So probably 160s at the least, and a Fuel Pump (MagnaFuel 750 or Holley Dominator).

The TH350 will be on borrowed time, I have both a TH400 and a 4L80E sitting for when that time comes. Just don't know which one to use, OD would be nice to have.
How do you like the 4L80E in your Nova? Looks like you have a pretty sweet build going on yourself.

Yeah, will probably stay that way unless I find some street wheels that only come in 5 lug. Saleen SCs with drag radials for the street.

How bad did you have to beat the inner fender well in? You mind taking a few pics of the inner fender?

How come those wheels/tire stick out so much further than other 15x8, 5.5"BS setups? Those looks like 15x10 wheels to me

The angle of the pics make them look like they stick out more than they do.

I've rolled a foxes fenders before. the angle of the metal was larger than 90* to start so I had to get it started with the mallet and then it rolled nicely.
