Do both those headers fit between the block and steering column? I moved my steering column 2 inches toward the driver's side to miss stock LS manifolds flipped forward for a turbo. We are now running nitrous and want to street drive some so want a muffler

I don't think changing plugs is really that bad on mine. I do not have the splash shields on the bottom of my inner fenders, and I jack it up, pull the wheel and do it that way. It's just easier for me to do that, but either way, can be done.
For someone who changes plugs a lot, you should understand, after you do it 4 or 5 times, you learn the easiest way. I am sure you understand this.
I will say from a performance standpoint, I think they suck! With my SBE 6.0 with worked 799's and a turbo cam, you can see a restriction when tuning on the map. It might help if I dumped them, but the exhaust is mandrel bent 2 1/2". If i were staying N/A or spraying it, I would go Stainless works, no question.

You are running the Sanderson's? Performance was definitely a consideration for me as well. I never cranked the truck with them on it but they were installed for a while. I decided to change several things (cam, springs, pushrods, rockers, Vic jr, ss4000) before I ever finished and this was one. The Stainless Works were not out yet or I would have bought them.

I have to agree. I have a worked 6.0, ported 799 heads, and a stage 2 turbo cam. On HP tuners, I can data log, and see a restriction. I have 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust, and a 3.5" inlet tube. Truck puts down ~420RWHP. 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust is good for over 500. I have seen plenty of cars with a 3.5" inlet tube with 1 90* like mine, make over 500, so when I see my Kpa drop on a WOT run, I HAVE to believe it's the Sandersons.
The dilemma ends up being, the only manifolds that fit are F-Body, and they don't just bolt in. Unfortunately, if your not throwing down big $ at a good set of Stainless Works, there are no other options. Thats why we (the s10 forum) begged Stainless works to make them.

Still looking at these headers. Anybody have an opinion of the fender well exit headers. I am leaning towards hedman 65858 headers. Just can't find any opinions on them???
