Dude, read the posting rules. You must list a price. How much?

very steep. There are running ones with low mileage going for around 1900-2500. With a blown motor you be lucky to get 2500. good luck to ya!!!

I've never seen a low mileage running '99 for anywhere around $2500 - try $6500 for a rough high-mileage '99, and nearly $10k for a low-mileage '99.

The only sub-$3k running Miatas are 1990-1993. That said, $4500 is a bit high for a no-motor Miata, and you still haven't done so much as post a location or picture or anything.

I am in Birmingham Alabama. I will get a pic up in a day or two. The car is still at my sisters house. As far as price yall think thats high? Ive seen these cars go for around 7k running. A running motor aint worth 3000.00. As far as the price that the ZO6 guy is talking about it might be the early years, get you facts straight dude..I'll buy all the low milage 1900.00 ones you can find for me!

There's a couple of running '99 and '00 cars on Autotrader for under $4.5k...

Blown motor absolutely kills a car's value, a $3k hit is not unexpected. I wouldn't expect to get $4.5k for the car in its current condition.

Good luck though.

Not trying to hijack your thread but I didnt mean to offend you with my assumption on the car. I have done my research and I just find it hard to believe your gonna find someone thats willing to pay 4500 out of their pocket for a Miata that has a blown motor low mileage and all. I am currently in the market for a miata to do an LS1 conversion on and mileage dosent matter to me, cuz after all im swappping out the entire drive train as it is.

Just my .02

Must depend on area then...around here (AZ) $4500 will get you a decent '94-'97 car, or a very clean '90-'93, but no '99+ at all unless it's a salvage. Been looking for a while, too...I wouldn't mind a NA to play around with and my wife's daily is a '99

I dont understand all the bashing about it having a blown motor. I put it on here with the assumption that someone would put a LS1 in it. I wouldnt think the motor would matter. I think its a good price for as clean as it is. My sister drove it as a weekend car and its super clean. Its just been sitting for 2 weeks. Sitting in a basement. Under a cover. I just talked with her and she gave 10900.00 for it with 80k on it 2 years ago. I would consider 4000.00 or i'll keep it and do one myself as the money allows me.
