Default Completed T-bucket/LS6 combo inside

Finished my '23 t-bucket refitment with a heads/cam LS6. Old combo was a big block Olds 455 that was getting tired. Put a stroker in my '01 Z06 so had this motor sitting around. Saved 200 lbs off the BBO. Car now weighs 1620 without driver.
Other specs:
Stock bottom end LS6 with katech rod bolts and CNC 243 heads, G5X2 cam, GMPP carb intake with Demon 850(a bit big still tuning it, may go smaller)
MSD coil control, sanderson headers
8" rear, 4.11, mini-spool turbo 350 with 9" 4000 stall ati

I've had this car 13 years, ran easy 10.20's @128 with my mild BBO. Very stable car at speed, it was built as a track car 1st and have a bolt-in cage. Lets just say its a bit faster now....

Excellent build! It is great to see the LSx motors showing up in the traditional hot rods. Just a matter of time I guess. Not only does it look great, it's gotta be scary fast!

Congratulations!

That's sweet nice work. Can you tell me what type of alternator bracket setup you have? Looks like you only have an alternator? Thanks,

I'm partial to the BBO, but what you got has to be the best replacement for a tired Olds! I know another guy that replaced an Olds like that....

Andy1-Yes the front brakes are off the rear of a 1990 ford escort-car stops well but more than (2) 80-0 or (1) 130-10 stops and they need to cool a bit. Rear drums are '68 mustang. With the car more than 200lbs lighter and new brake hardware it stops surprisingly quick!

nova65ss-It is a f-body setup with just the PS unit left off, spinning waterpump and alt only. I was worried about some slippage on the crank pulley driving the belt b/c it wraps only a bit more than 1/4 of the surface. Seems OK so far though.

ryanvv355- the Olds BB I'm going to freshen up and put it in my 66 Toro
DLSNFL- Still might go Fuel inj one day, found the carb parts sooner than inj.
