Need A Good Conversion Shop
I need to find a shop that can put an LS7 into a 1996 Impala SS that is completely stock. I am also probably looking to go with a wet sump oil system instead of the stock dry sump.
Preferably I would like a shop that has done it at least two or three times on Impalas or LT1 Corvettes and Camaros. I cant do any of the work myself :-) I dont care where the shop is in the U.S., it just needs to be a first rate shop that knows what they are doing. Any and all replies welcome :-)
Let me know

wow i would not think that would be that hard of a swap i have a small shop here and have done a few swaps 6.0 in a scout ls1 in a 1938 lasalle and about to put a 5.3 in my own jeep that one sound like it would be easer than any of those

Yeah it shouldnt be that hard. Street and Performance makes motor mounts to put the LS engines in the Caprice/Impala... They also have the wire harness needed.. GM is also coming out with a wire harness for just these kinds of conversions. I just cant do it myself. I would mess the car up...that much I know
