Default Performance Auto Fab's 1951 Austin Sheerline Ls1 swap

In the begining the car came to us with a strait 6 cylinder!



We pulled it out!!



And built our own motor mounts and tranny mount!




Then we put the new Ls1 engine and trans in it!

There are only 2 of these cars in the united states! And the owner of this one has the 2nd one as well!!

Cool swap.

What's the box thing on the upper control arm is that the shock absorber or something?

cool looking swap, I am curious about the upper a-arm thing as well, also, it looks like you could pay for the swap by recycling that radiator, that thing is huge!

Resurrecting a very old thread. I wonder how this thing performed? An Austin Sheerline weighs two solid tons! . I was looking on line for a Sheerline chassis...
