Looking at buying a 2000 Trans Am but it needs new top. Anyone know price estimates off getting new one installed?

I had my OEM spec two piece with glass rear window/defogger done for $1,000 installed. This was two-ish years ago.

I've heard good things about them as well. I don't remember where mine is from. I'll take a look next time in the garage. I'm very pleased with it.

I had mine done for roughly $800. I ordered my top (two piece top/rear defrost glass in stayfast cloth) from AutoTopsDirect and had a local shop install it for me (about $400 labor). In fact, the upholstery shop that did the work was asking me where I got the top from since they were impressed the quality, and I'm happy with it.

$1063 out the door WITH install is a decent price. I'm debating right now on just window replacement or going with the whole setup.

Of the top "options" at tops online, what matches closest with the factory top? My top is in great shape...the rear piece, not so much. I may just replace the rear piece for now.
