Default Lowering my Vert need help.

What is safe to lower my vert to??? Should I go with a 1" lowering spring or lower to 1.8"??? I have heard there are problems with lowering a vert???

BTW does anyone have an SFC, what type and what do you think of it???

SFCs shouldn't require any additional ground clearance. 1.8" might be a little too low for you though ,especially if you plan on running longtube headers later.

They work great, I used DMS springs a whole lot of drop somewhere in between the Pro-kit and sportlines.

Any F-body (hardtop,t-top,convertible) will see good benefits from SFCs . Well worth the investment. Even a totally stock F-bod needs SFCs.

I would recommend the Edelbrock IAS setup. This gives you appr. 1.2" in the rear (uses Eibach Pro-Kit spring & IAS shock) and an adj. front coil-over. As long as you don't go to low in the front it'll handle and ride great.

I run the Pro-kit with the BMR SFC. They work great.

same. prokit springs with qa-1'z. dual adj in the front and 50/50 comp./rebound/ adj all around.

anything beyond a 1.5 drop and you'll run it to issues. i have a nasty bump steer affect which im trying to resolve..but due to the change in steering angle and even stock f-bodies exhibit alittle bump steer.

suggestion, change your shocks at the same time if they are anything but brand new.........the change is suspension angle will tear them up!!! also, lca brackets and adj, panhard bars are a must to realign the rear
