New personal best 60' time (1.326)
I got a new best 60' time of 1.326 at Carolina Dragway. I am still having vavle train issues so the overall ET and especially the mph is not there yet. I ran 10.001@133.42, 10.061@132.43, 10.015@132.66 and 10.020@135.21. Last time I ran there in similar conditions I was running 9.94-9.97 at 135-137 with 1.340-1.347 60' times, so the fact that I am losing power above 5800 rpms is really affecting the top end speed. I will get it figured out soon though.

I know the feeling. I have destroyed one or two myself. I am running a stock C5 suspension with QA1 shocks and strange brakes. The diff is a DTE Stage 5 with 3.73 gears. As far as the sucess of the 60' time, in a nutshell, it can be attributed to a lot of trial and error. It just takes time to work with a certain set up to get it to work the way you want it to. You must take into consideration many variables such as track conditions, atmospheric conditions, car weight, tire size and compound, tire pressure, driving style, and the list goes on and on. I have been working on this for a while.

You will have to play with the QA1 adjustments and fine tune them to your set up. I would start out in the middle and move softer or harder as needed. Hoosier slicks, not radials. No brace on diff.

I didn't kill any diffs until I got into the mid 1.4s. If your diff was built by a reputable company then you should be good for a while but anything can happen.
