Default New best MPH's only and consistant suck ET's!

Well at the very last second yesterday I decided to run home after work and take the car to the track. Partially cause my friend was talking a buttload of crap with his T/A with 150shot,cam,intake,TB,exhaust,Fab 9in rear, slicks/skinnies,tune,suspension,tick,short belt, elec waterpump etc etc.
The 1st pass I did a nice 2nd gear burnout and rolled out of it and then put in 1st gear and pull up to the line.
1st pass 3000rpm launch, tires at 19psi
60ft-1.983 spun badly-let off and then got back into it
330ft-5.045
1/8th-7.527
MPH-103.90-I thought this was high and was due to the spin
1000ft-9.658
1/4-11.407
MPH-130.10
Not to bad for a spin, leave off and 87deg's and humid as *****!

2nd pass I let the tire pressure down to 16psi pretty warm still form first pass. This run is against my friends T/A-we agree on fastest time and if you red light you're gay. (partiallys cause I usually redlight)
3000rpm launch-pretty big 2nd gear burnout
60ft-1.781 Very bad bog-however the bigger motor recovers quickly
330ft-4.864
1/8th-7.323
MPH-104.64<<<New best and I about fell over looking at that!
1000ft-9.446
1/4mi-11.187
MPH-131.02<Also a new best with a bog not a spin
At this point its approx 80deg's out and getting more humid. The T/A nailed me out of the hole due to the bog but I walked by him by a car length and he ran 11.55@126mph LOL! He usually runs 11.9's at 118mph in the heat so not a good day for him either.

3rd Final pass
3500rpm launch 2nd gear burnout-smaller then prior burnouts.
60ft-1.758-really bad bog again!
330ft-4.840
1/8th-7.298
MPH-104.42
1000ft-9.412
1/4mi-11.156
MPH-130.87
Temp is down to approx 78deg's at this point and humid.

One thing that threw me off is after the 1st the clutch grabbed higher which threw me off and the car drifted up and staged me before I could do what i normally do. I normally pull up 1st light and lightly leave up on the clutch just to where it moves me and push down done ready to launch. I left up on it part way but was obviously further away from where I should be. All in all I had fun and drove home in one piece which makes me happy.

Looks like you're doing pretty good. Nice runs.

You have a good clutch in there, have you considered launching at a higher RPM? I've managed to cut a few 1.6X 60 fts with a 5000 to 6000 rpm launch. Every tenth saved on the launch, saves you two at the traps.

Thats on Hoosier slicks. The car spun badly on the first run, then the next 2 passes it bogged badly I need a not as tall of a tire to try. Not as many drag racing vette buddies around me to try another size

How is the flow on the slp catback? Would you benefit from DMH cutouts ?? The lgm big 3 catback flow so well that the cutouts only picked up .25 rwhp and .11 rwtq but the sound is worth it all the way.

Nice runs man !! I hope I can do something similar.
