I've had run flats, still do, and Michelin PS2's. The Michelins grip so much better initially, and are quieter as well. The only thing I like about the RF's is the fact you can drive to the nearest garage and get her fixed vs needing a flatbed.

Eagle's have "0" wet traction. I like the all around performance of the BFG KDWs, but they're kinda noisy. The Michelin's are definitely good, but WOW they're expensive. Tirerack has customer feed back online for all of their tires. That's a good place for info as well.

I think a much better tire for the price can be found than GY F1s. Has anyone had PS2s and GS-D3s? Wouldn't mind hearing a comparison between the two.

I have KDW II's & they suck, noisy & poor dry traction, not sure regarding wet.

Also I have PS2's, they are much better especially in warmer temp's. Very expensive!

My next try will be the Toyo R888's.

Best street tire for me is turning, acceleration & stopping....then pricing....least & of all & no concern is wear, I don't drive enough to wear them out.

If you want a sticky street tire, Nitto NT05s. All around nice tire that doesn't break the bank, Nitto 555 Extremes.

Ran Nittos on my Trans Am and never had problems... Damn tires lasted over 15K miles before the car was stolen with more than 50% tread left on them.

If your running the 275/40/18 then I would recommend the Sumitomo htr lll's , I sell these at my big o store and they are very sticky with a 300 tread rating, I also have them on my g8gt that has headers, tuned, etc. They hook pretty dam good, I've put them on a couple vets, bmw's, mercedes and jags. I'll put them on my vet as soon as the falken's wear out or if I can sell them to someone else.

nitto's have allways treated me awesome. ran the 555 for aobut 5 sets, they last about 20-24k miles.

running a nitto INVO now and have 14k on them, they will need replacing sooner than the 55 i think. but they also where ona road coarse before so we will see.

I do like ht INVO better, but milage may be less this is my first set of those.
