https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=H2lmhbEvVUQ that's my c5 with cam full bolt ons a monster stage 3 and a fast intake getting beat by a c5z with headers and a cai. How's this possible. My friends ms3 Vette barely beat that basically stock c5z this has us so upset. what can be the deal?

Could be a lot of different things from trans problems, tuning issues, driver, etc...

Did you get a dyno/street tune After all of the mods you have done?

I think they refer to it as a money maker system

Did short do the street tune?

A dyno tune will show better gains!

Tuning it will tell you if the motor is hurt, which is the only explanation short of a money maker system for that kind of beating. Money maker systems are nitrous systems hidden in the intake. They make them for just about every LS intake out there. That was a 75-100 wheel difference beating, which would lead me to believe he's running on gas.

You'll be able to tell after your tune this week. Let us know.

Consider it this way: stock the LS6 in the Z06 would be roughly 340-360 depending if it's an '01 or an 02-04. Headers and intake and tune, will be roughly 390-400.

So, if you have a decent cam and supporting mods, you should be over 400.

"Should be" and "is" are completely different..

If your car wasn't properly tuned, then you aren't running optimal.. I've seen some bad tunes!

Regardless, that was no 30 wheel difference....

Just get it to the tuner, do some data logs and let James dial it in... He'll let you know if something is wrong with your car!
