Default speedway white zo6?

so i was driving today and saw a speedway white zo6 forsale! i had to stop and check it out. turns out its a 99 with 50k on the clock, and the dealer wants 19999 for it. its a small dealership, so i dont think he knows what he actually has. it was in a fender bender in NY in 2000 and has had 2 owners. it runs strong, but i had a few questions....

one, all zo6's ive seen say ZO6 on the gauge cluster...this one doesnt
two, it doesnt have the brake cooling ducts on the sides....??
three, (im not sure if its supposed to but...) it doesnt have a zo6 rpo code in the glovebox.

the first two might not be there b/c its a 99, but im not sure. and im not sure if zo6 is an actual rpo.

oh, the vin is 1G1YY12G7X5116541

as far as the accident, the carfax has a report # that was filed with the NYPD, so i figure i can look it up and see exactly what happened.

other than the things listed, its awesome. i love white zo6's!!! i just wanna make sure its a real zo6 first.

thanks all,
chris

Its an FRC (fixed roof coupe), not a Z06. The first Z06s were in production in 2001 and 2001 was the only year they offered speedway white. 20K for an FRC? Thats pretty cheap.... I think.

I have one of those, I love it! They only made 331 of those in 99, I'd snap it up for that price assuming the fender bender was minor and it drove good.

I just got mine this year so I will not be selling it anytime soon. I did not know what I got until about a week after. A friend told me how rare the color was, and I started to see that as people do not believe z06s came in white.

From what I have seen in my travels, white C5 Corvettes in general are pretty rare.

I used to own one and traded it for my 03 ZO6. They come standard with 3.42 gears, Z51 suspension and can only be had with a 6-speed. They are about the same weight as the ZO6 and remember 99' is 345hp stock. When I traded mine it was pushing 380rwhp. Not too bad for a 99'. It handled excellent. Sometimes I wish I still had it, because it would have a procharger on it by now lol! $19999 is a good price. With a cam and headers it is a beast.

In 2001 only 352 Speedway White ZO6's were built. Pretty rare.

In 1999 only 331 Arctic White FRC's were built! Even rarer. I think I would rather have the 99 than the 01, every 01 I have encountered used alot of oil. This was on regular C5's and f-bodies, I dont know if the 01 LS6 was any different.

01 LS6's had oil consumption issues too.

I got a 2000 Artic White. Only 315 were made in 2000. At that price, I'd snag it in a heart beat!

Well I am in Baton Rouge now. I got out one vette, but my 71 along with the house is under water. My family ended up leaving 3 cars down there so when we can finally get back we will know the extent of the damage. From what I have seen our house was under 15 to 20 feet of water so we could not even see the roof. I finally got some word from Bay St. Louis that my grandma is ok so everyone in my family made it out. For now I will be in BR, but my parents and brother are moving to houston for the next 6 months. I appreciate all the concern Thanks!
