Question about Lingenfelter Twin Turbo package
They are claiming 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and a 1/4 miles time of 9.5 @ 140 mph on STREET TIRES..... I have seen this car on several occations running this time, racing a fighter jet and so forth.... My dilema is..
I've never seen this car run this w/ street tires..!? Does the ET mean ET drag radials? In need of clarification! The car in the pic appears to have slicks too..???

"Street tire" is a vague term, being all it basically needs is like 3/32s of tread to be legal. The ET tires they're refering too are ET streets tho. They're probably misleading a little bit by posting the 0-60 in the 3.2 range as "street tires" being that estimate was probably done off of ET Street runs aswell. But hell, when you're dealing w/ over 700ft/lbs its going to be hard to really get the best out of your normal street tire.

They are saying the time is on Mickey Thompson ET streets, the tire on the car in the picture.
But what is your question, how do you get into the 9's? There are lots of guys in here that can help you get that goal. While I confirm that Lingenfelter is a quality company, they do charge an above average price for it. I personally would send you somewhere different. If you would like to know where, please PM me.

LPEs setups are pricey, but there arent a lot of other companies out there doing TT work and lasting like LPE has. Their engineeering/R&D, quality - everything is top notch. I dont think Ive heard a complaint yet from anyone comming out of John's shop (outside of their wallet being lighter). There has been cheaper TT packages out there yeah, but none of them have really lasted like the LPE kit has.
And only the TT427 package is 40+. You can get a base 550hp package, and up the boost and run insane times for about 1/2 the cost. You still get a cam, heads, tune, new exhaust etc w/ the kit like you do w/ the 650 and 750, you just dont get the same amount of stuff as you do w/ those latter packages (block blueprinting, 4 into 1 custom headers etc).

Thanks for the clarification guys... I just saw the 1038hp C6 corvette video clip on the dyno at their facility, and decided to cruise the web site to see what something like that would cost... Turns out its somewhere in the $50k range. No way would i be paying that $, not saying its not worth it, but I cannot afford it. I dont have a car i want to mod, I was just cruising their site, and had this question... Seems a little far fetched they can get that speed w/ et's with that kind of crazy power! Thanks again guys!
