I'm in the club now I am picking up my C5 this evening, I am SO excited, it's only 9:30am and I know this day is going by slow on purpose!!
It's an unmolested C5 6 speed, I actually saw the ad for it on this site, it was meant to be I guess...what's funny is that he first listed it a couple months ago, and I hosted some photos for him in the post (because I saw 500 people asking for email requests). At that point the thought of selling my Z28 and getting a vette wasn't even a thought in my mind...
Over the next couple of months I was like hmm, I want a C5 now...sold the Z28 in a week and started looking. I was like hey this one that I hosted photos for looks nice...and was only 1 1/2 hours from me. We were able to work out a deal and now it's coming home with me tonight. I am SO thrilled.
I've already got some things coming in the mail
I ordered some black Z06 wheels because I'm not a fan of the wagon wheels...got an MTI shifter on the way, a new ****, some pretty floormats, and a set of blackouts for the lights. Can you tell I'm psyched?!

congrats, I got mine 2 weeks ago and I'm loving it too.
Lucky you sold your camaro so quick....I haven't sold my Formula yet, but found a good deal on the vette, so I had to jump on it. Mods will have to wait until I sell the formula.

Kel-you'll have a smile on your face from now on...BTW, nothing sexier than a hot woman in a black vette! Makes you even hotter! What are your plans for it in the future (mods)?

Looks just like my best friends. He bought a 99 brand new and it now has 169,000 miles on it!!!!! It has only had the column lock, ac control, windshield wiper motor, and brakes and tires. That's it for repairs in 7 years and 170k!!!! It has never even had new spark plugs, lol. He is driving it in Atlanta right now. So I bought the same car (mines an 02 with thin spokes, but tan and black interior) because his car was so strong and solid (he got every option available, 49k in 99!!)
BTW-congrats and you will be a happy girl, I see a black mini skirt and stillettos and 4 roundish tailights in my mind's eye,
