Default what does FRC stand for???

I've heard this term forever and never have heard anyone say it out?

I know it's probably something so amazingly simple that I'll feel like an idiot for asking. maybe we live to sheltered of a life here in eastern kentucky, I don't know.

thanks.

You are correct. Those of us who have Z06s and FRCs also say that it stands for Factory Race Car. Guys that have coupes that have forgotten to secure the roof panels and suffer the dreaded airborn tops say it means Flying Roof Club.

Female Recruiter Car and I am speaking from personal experience. Ladies love Corvettes, and the slutty ones love to go fast in the modified ones.

you're all wrong.

it stands for: ******* RICE CRUSHER.

However, since we now live in the age of political correctness, GM yielded to the pressures of society and now refers to the FRC as a Z06.

It sounds so stupid calling them Fixed roof coupes. I guess if you refer to your car as your vehicular mode of transportation you can call it that. But to normal people they refer to is as a hard top. The other versions being a coupe, and a convertable.

Ha...yea on here people might think a "hard top" is a coupe with the solid top, or whatnot. Ive seen them advertised as "hardtops" on other sites and were actually coupes with a solid painted roof. Its just in real life no one calls it a "fixed roof coupe". My dads always had vettes, a few midyears (C2) and he would have no idea what a FRC is, and telling a friend what im looking for that knows nothing of vettes would have no idea what one is either. Then I refer to them as hard tops or hatchbacks (coupe).

It also stands for Flying Roof Club for those owners who didn't clamp down their roof before driving.
