Well a guy at my work talks alot of you know what about his Yamaha R6 w/jet kit, 2 teeth down,Yoshimira pipe, couple carbon fiber items to lighten her up and some other little mod and he weighs 145lbs. So he's a little guy which helps out alot. Well we go out to the local rolling track and do a 2nd gear kick on 3 beeps. First race I was a little down on the RPM's at about 35mph. 3 beeps he gets the hit and pulls up to little in front of bumper hits 3rd and pulls up some more and I hit 3rd gear and things stay about even with him approx 1 car ahead up to about 125mph. I watched his arm as we raced seen him hit the throttle and his arm didnt flinch till we let off. Was a pretty cool race, though I was thinking he got a little jump helped him out. Second run we line up and he gets cocky on me and just waves go ahead and hit it. SO I DID!!!!!! I hit it 2nd gear but a higher RPM/MPH and immediately pulled away, hit 3rd gear clean and pulled a little more, hit 4th and pulled a little more till I was approx 1 car or so ahead and walking away slowly. THIRD run he did the 3 beeps and once again higher in RPM/MPH in 2nd gear and he beeped and we hit it about the same time. We're about even then I hit 3rd i pull up a little bit and then I hit 4th he pulls up to my front bumper with his front wheel and then I slowly start pulling up to where we shut down around 120-125mph and his is right back where we started at my door. We stopped at the end of the track and talked for a bit and both agreed on the results and neither spun and hit all gears each race. All in all just alot of good clean fun. I was really impressed with his bike.

I ran a friend of mine in my vette against his Ninja 636 with similar mods that you listed. we started in third and it was pretty much dead even, once I hit 4th I put about a length on him and he shut it down, probably because of how much $hit he has always talked about how his bike would lay the smack down on my Z06

Yeah with out the 4.10s at that low of a speed I would've been toast

That's why I run against bikes from 80 in 3rd gear. My car is perfectly set to go. That's a real nice spot to start from with my 3.42 gears

i ran an 07 gsxr 600 from a 35 roll in 2nd he pu a car and a half on me till about 90 by 140 i had a full car on him...theres no stoppin th z06 top end. needless to say when it was over he was srpised i had so much top end...to badwith the cam bein as big as it is in my z it is a real slug on low end tq

btw i am goin with trickflow 235cc heads i know they are really big for the 346 i got now(i will be doin a408 swap soon) and i will lose more low end but does anyone have any advice on which heads they think i should go with? or maybe hve any experience with the 235s?
