New Best MPH only :( 11.48@126.22mph
Well I took the car down to Cecil county dragway last nite with some slightly better air. I was really hoping to hit a 11.3's or better and 126mph. I came up a bit short, but not a complete loss. Better give a quick story first. I ran 11.43@125mph a month ago in some rather warm air with a 1.73 60ft. So I was VERY pleased with those results thinking, "ok if do a better 60ft, clean up some shifting, and cold air I'm down to 11.1-2's at 126mph". So I take the car down last week and was really shocked at how the car ran. I'm not if the car didnt learn everything it needed or what after a battery replacement a couple days before but the car only ran a best of 11.59@124.36mph and stayed pretty much in the 11.64,11.66,11.69 by the end of the nite at 122.67mph. I could not figure out what was happening. Checking video going was I spinning? was the clutch slipping, driver error etc. Still not sure but I did hit (2) passes with 1.73 60ft in 100DA worse weather then when I ran the 11.43pass. To say i was dissappointed was a understatement and the MPH loss confused me even more.
So i take the car down last nite in slightly better weather then those 2 previous time.

mph 96.44
1000ft 9.673

MPH 126.22 <---new best MPH I WANT A COOKIE!
All in all it was a fun nite, I did my Ranger change the clutch fluid before I went to the track as usual. I did my best not to slip the clutch so much as to let out quickly and let the car accelerate out of the hole. Any info, recommendations, advice let me know.
This does have to be the most picky car in the 330ft perfection category ever. As you can see the 60ft barely changed and the shifting honestly didnt change much and the passes changed quite drastically IMO. I know the 60ft and 330ft really tie into the end ET result but never had a car that I had to be basically perfect to get a good result. Just a slight difference makes a huge difference in the car at the end and how the car feels the entire track.

V-series thats just plain old fashioned NA for now. I'm looking at the 100shot soon and wanting a MPH around 133mph range with the 28in tall tires.

I think you just convinced me to get some gears! Ive only been to the track once with this setup and kinda knew I needed some gears after the first pass.
My best was an 11.8@121 with a 1.92 60'. I was crossing the traps at about 5300 rpm's, well shy of where this car makes most of its power. Mine makes 452/406 so its very similar to the power of yours.
Do you know what the DA was the day you went to the track?

Those were the numbers I was hoping for....I'd be satisfied with 124 mph TRAP. I got a built rear with 3.42's so I have to hit 4th going through the traps.
What kind of tires are you using to cut those great 60' times ??
CONGRATS on the 126+ mph trap !!! Kicking *** bro !!!!
I hope to be there with you after some more time at the track.

Well pass the man a cookie!
Good running! Tremendous mph. I didn't read what tires you have but you might want to consider a slightly larger diameter tire to get that rpm down at the lights. Cheaper than a gear.

You're correct with the tires. I run a 26x11.5x16in ET street (non radial) just for the swelling of the tires let me make it through the traps with the 4.10s at 6500-6600rpm with rev limter at 6800rpm and I shift at 6700rpm and with the sometimes slow tach really isnt any help.
