If you Google the phone number (7057935728), you'll find that (a) 705 is a Canadian area code {car is listed in Orlando}, and (b) there are other classified ads on the Internet that offer nice items for ridiculously low prices, from other areas of the country. "Free Shipping" really gives it away.
Scam.
Scam.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, if it looks to good to be true it probably is. I really would like to get an FRC car, but I need an automatic. If I am not mistaken they don't exist right?

I ran across a scam like this on autotrader where a couple C5's similar to this price range were also for sale. The scam is they want you to pay a down payment and then they ship the car to you and if you like it then you keep it and pay the rest. I was interested at first until I called them on it and all the phone #'s went to fax machines. I also emailed and asked where the car was located and when they would give me a city name (like Denver for example) then I would say I had a friend that lived there that would like to check it out for me. Funny how their story would change and you couldn't come see the car for one reason or another. Bottom line is don't pay anything up front unless you know it's legit.

there was a guy that posted on the Corvette Forum about how he found this great deal at 16k for a 99 coupe online, pretty sure Ebay. he got it home and there was no wiring for ANY of the lights "Head lights, fog lights, and turn singals". The frame was bent, and passanger door didnt close right. Long Story short, there is a Vette Somewhere near you for a decent price. if its to good to be true then it is, and if you cant drive it before you give them a dime then dont and move on.
