doesnt surprise me at all. The nissan fan boys need to realize that just because the gtr has been tested to be faster around the track than the z06 that in real life conditions it will get its *** handed to it by the z06. A simple look at the trap speeds in the 1/4 mile would have shown them that but now this video will put it better in perspective on wich car is truly faster. z06>gtr

What I expected especially form a role. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if an LS3 vette would take a GTR in a similar race the two trap speeds are basically the same.

BS!!! The GTR driver didn't shift properly!!! Also, turbo's love higher speed, they should have done a 200kmh roll in order where the gTr really shines!
That's assuming it's even Godzilla, probably some *sadly* poorly tuned G35 with a sickass body kit. Needs a bigger wing, woulda helped on the launch by using downforce to keep the car more planted and out-launch the chevette.

Great video it was nice seeing that one for sure. I personally think the launch control is the sweet part about the GT-R. This does help the car greatly IMO on a dead stopper. The crazy thing is if you think about the weight of the GT-R. The thing is a serious heavy weight. If someone buys one, and finds all the little short cuts to taking weight out of the car, turn up the boost and some tuning thats going to be one pissed off import running 10's on street tires possibly!!!

the launch control is bad *** but the vette will just tear it apart on the street. I agree that with a good driver, the LS3 should be able to hunt down the GTR easily

I think their is a thread that says that the warranty is voided once you use the launch control...lol

well I think that all can agree that both are very nice cars.
I think its a personal choice of which to get.. The Z06 has the sexyness and raw power while the GTR has a nice look not sexy like the Z06 but definitley a sweet lookin car, its got the technology, and reliabilty. Now I can completely agree that the Z06 can hands down beat the GTR but the GTR based on driing reviews around autocross courses is absolutly stunning on the road courses..
And yes I am a big fan of both cars so no bias here.. both are extrordinary pieces of work

And what are you trying to say.. This isn't like the GTR just came out first gen this year.. this car has alot of history and has always been one ****** fast car. Yeah its a Nissan at least they didn't give infiniti the title of the GTR which they were going to do at first.. Its always been a nissan and its gonna stay that way
As they say not replacement for displacement.
