6.968 @ 101.70 MPH 1/8 Mile
I took another trip out to Irwindale this past Thursday! I'm extremely glad that I made the trip too.
I came out with a new best (it seems that every single time I go to the track that this is happening) and I couldn't be happier.
My idea was to take a couple passes without going ***** out until it got cooler throughout the day so that I could run better times so the first one I shifter into 3rd and let out of the throttle 100% so that I didn't get kicked off the track again. LOL
This idea was good, but I only got 3 passes do to 2 people blowing their damn engines. It was a big *** waiting game. I waited in line for 3 hours for one of the passes. It was ridiculous...
Without further ado, the time slips!

I'll be back with a vengeance with the roll cage ready to go. No more of this getting kicked out bullshit. I'm going legit!

As it sat that night at the track with me and gas in it, I'm guessing right around 3,500lbs. give or take 10lbs.
I've got a PSR Tubular K-Member and PSR Tubular A-Arms waiting to be installed with my LT's so that will save me another 70lbs. off of the front of the Cobra along with the MM Coilovers that will save me another 7lbs. each. That's another 84lbs. gone and that's off of the front so that's going to help a lot with weight transfer.
I'm also getting bigs and littles which will save me an additional 100lbs in rotational mass and do a battery relocation kit as well.
I should be right around 3,300lbs. with driver and gas when I'm finished.

That is awesome what kind of big changes did you have to make to shed that kind of weight? Got any links to pictures of those cars? I wouldn't mind having some new screensavers lol.

- SRA swap
- Corbeau driver/passenger seats
- Rear seat delete
- Gutted trunk (no spare, jack, insulation, or panels)
- Sound deadening
- PSR k-member/a-arms
- Coilovers all the way around (saves 28lbs.)
- SSR's all the way around
- LT's through cat-back
- Dumps
- And a bunch of little things...
And what pictures? LOL
