my slow lt1
okay well i finally got to take the car to the local 1/8 mile track, ive had the car on the road for about a month so i havent learned the car yet i ran three times and spun at the lights, and when it hit second it spun untill i took my foot out of it
first run second run third run
R/T .865 .891 .558
60' 2.191 2.394 2.336
330' 6.165 6.601 6.325
1/8 9.754 9.801 9.600
MPH 68.52 78.58 76.94
i need to learn this car, i let off in the first run when the car started spinnin in second as you see the slow mph, i think i can get this thing going a solid 9.3 once i get it to hook a lil better. any ideas aside from new rubber i know its a must but maybe in a month im still gonna run it if we get a nice day

I think you should be a little faster. My brother's LT1 TA runs
8.80@80.5 /2.01 60ft. On some heavy *** 18" Chrome Ruff wheels.
He's got Long Tubes, ORY, Cutout, Coldair kit, bfg drag radials.

Should be faster IMHO, but seat time will help out some. You might want to get a real tune on it instead of a chip to take full advantage of the mods.

I have a bolt on 95 Lt1 a4 TA and run consistant 8.3x in the eighth without nitrous. When the weather is good I consistantly see 8.2x. My mph is usually 83.xx when it is in the 8.2x range. Get some drive time and some drag radials and it will do wonders!
