Video 1st shakedown runs - Need suspension advice
It has plenty of motor to hit nines, but I need to fine tune the suspension. Are the limiters set too tight causing the suspension to unload? 60' times on all 3 runs were 1.47. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Car is a 98 Formula 3150 race weight
Moser 12 bolt 3.91's W/Spool
Rossler TH350 W/Lockup switch and Circle D 4c converter
HKE 427 W/TFS 235's 11.1 to 1
25x/26x 650/650 Hyd
QA1 275 fronts W/QA1 R-series set at 4
Travel Limiters set at 2 1/4"
Stock cut rear springs W/QA1's set to 7

Reboot,
You left out the type of rear tire! I guessing it is a radial tire due to the way the car was acting on the launch! Your race weight is 200 lbs. less then my car but the front set up is close. I run my shocks full loose up front and have my limiters set for 4 inches of travel! I run 26X10X15 inch M/T Drags. You must get the tires loaded on the back!
I have attached some videos from January 31, 2009 of my car so you can see what it does on a 3,000 RPM foot brake launch!
The first set is NA 10.57 and 10.53 at 125+ MPH runs with a 1.39 60 foot and the second set is a 75 HP dry shot used at the launch 10.25 at 129.5 MPH with a 1.343 60 foot in car video and a 10.35 using the nitrous in 2 nd gear and 3 rd gear trackside video!

Well then if it is ET Drags next time out put the front shocks on 1 and loosen the limiters to allow more travel and hold on! That car is going to put some numbers down for sure!
I usally run my tire pressure at 15 to 17 lbs. checked just before going to the staging lanes and they are the stiff version as well!
Be safe!

I agree with the Chef's advice above 100% in addition i'd put a lil more slack in the limiters. My sig pic was the result of NOT having the limiters LOL. I did get 2 good passes off with the shocks on 5 up front and belive it or not zero out back. For some reason my car is still stiff as bricks on zero in the back. Anyway 1.31 60 foots i'm about 150lbs lighter than you ALOT of it is removed from the nose. Weight transfer as you can see is a non issue.

I just got done adding another inch of travel to the limiters (now 3 1/4" instead of 2 1/4"). I set he shocks to 6 in back and 3 in front and will adjust from there.
Thank for the advice all

Here is a good still photo my daughter took. My car has the stock springs and shocks on the back!
As stated in previous post as you go to the T-brake you may have to tighten the front down more! It is going to pack the rear tires in the ground harder so it should transfer the weight better!
The settings you now have done should help a lot!

My maiden voyage was good and I wanted to end my day on a positive note. This was my first trip to the track in several years. I was happy and didn't feel like chasing down more gas or messing with the car.
