Default LE2.1HL Result Inside

Last night, i finally got my new setup to the track. A basic run down of the build is:
355 LT1 11.7 Compression
LE2 Heads
LE1HL Cam (22x/23x)
SS4000 Stall
Strano Rear adj. Sway Bar, LCAs, PHB, Stock shocks/springs
342 Rear End Gears
255 MT DR
First Pass: 12.144@112.04mph - 1.688 60ft
Second Pass: 12.151@112.3mph - 1.688 60ft

I am very happy for being my first trip to the track and getting in some great shake down runs. There is room for improvement! i had stock fronts on, plus a 300+ pound driver!

After all the trouble that motor caused me, I am was extremely happy to see it run last night.

Fix the exhaust leak, add skinnies and get the new shocks on; you'll have an 11 sec slip in no time
Properly adjusting the rear swaybar and getting the 3.73s back under there won't hurt either.
I think we can even get away with a little more tire pressure next time around. Those 255 DRs stuck better than I expected.

The DA at KCIR last night was in around 1321 when you made your passes.
Adjusted, your times are in around 11.9 @ 113 MPH

Yeah, with a little tweaking the times lower some. Thanks for the corrected numbers. I've always wondered how to do that.

good job.

I would try and change the stock shift points in the 700 R4 (only 5600 RPM).

If you can get it to shift in the 6300-6500 RPM range, the car will FLY.

Exactly, when I had a small problem that required a 6k shift point the car only ran 12.40-12.50's. With 6400 shift points it ran 12.0x's. In good air it ran the time in my sig. The proper shift points make a big difference.

Congrats and you have ALOT left in her! Of all the things mentioned you should pick up some serious ET and MPH. I have a very similar setup and suspect to run 11.50-60's at 116mph next time out still on stock shocks/sway bar and lowering springs so you definetly have a bright future with that setup.

Congrats. Nice times...considering how much you have left on the table. What is your raceweight?

Yep, lots of potential left. Drop that 60' down, and adjust the shift points, and you'll have that 11 sec timeslip.
