Default Fastest stock LS1 fbody?

Does anyone know who the record holder is, or if there even is one?

I don't just mean stock bottom end either. I mean stock. NO mods to the motor. Factory intake, silencer and all... stock headers, everything.

Only mods being trans/tires/susp/weight reduction.

well the mods take you out of the category I'm looking for....and with no weight reduction I bet there are many faster than that. No disrespect though.... thats a great time.

Some were recorded to be in the mid to low 12s...they were referred as factory freaks. Im sure more precise info is available.

In the 11s?? To my knowledge no stock LS1 f-body hit those times but I could be wrong.

stock motor.

but with lightening, trans, stall, susp, and tires it should be doable. 300hp in a car that doesn't way 3600lbs anymore would be quick.

Low 11s could happen with a light weight, full suspension car on drag radials/slicks.

In all honesty you have to allow for a lid..we all have one.

You're looking for a car that is gutted, stalled, and has suspension mods but won't allow for a lid change? A lid is just about the first mod everyone does. You stand a better chance finding Jimmy Hoffa.

I believe stock internal guys have been into the 10s. But of course that's with bolt ons too. Stock motors though.

My car, when it was 100% stock went 13.01 # 108 That was on stock F1 goodyear tires, etc.etc in june 2001, at lvd, not the best da place in the country by far.

I then modded it with header back exhaust, lid, and some suspension parts and went slower LOL. Trapped better, but the et never got any better then it did that 3rd week I had the car when it had 1100 miles on it

It was all down hill from there too Now it's all modded out.. and still doesn't run as fast as I think it should.

headers too. headers is always my first mod. makes plug changes nice and easy.
i dont think you are going to find many if any that have full suspension, weight reduction, and trans without the bolt ons too.

Pretty much yeah. THAT stock. Nothing to increase horsepower.

There is a class for just about everything out there, and records for 10 times as many things. If nobody's done that....I just might
