fastest 5.3l ? Ive been doing some searching, and have been wondering what is the fastest 5.3l out there? Maybe i havent looked in the correct place, but i figure there is a record for a stock ls1 whey not a 5.3l?

Since you didn't specify what type induction try searching a guy named Parrish. He runs mid 9s in a Fairmont with a turbo, he also has a very fast truck but I'm not sure if it still has the 5.3 or not, probably not.

any induction, i just want to see whats the best they have run. i knew his fairmount ran 9s his truck did preaty good also. It doesnt have a 5.3l anymore.

There a 5.3 turbo GMC full (6000 lbs) size van (nick named the Airport shuttle) in Vegas running high 11's not the quickest but to move 6000 lbs that fast you've got to be making some serious power.
