Average Weight for a LS-1 Camaro/Firebird ? I weighed my 02 SS a4 Sat. Night @ PBIR & could not believe it was that light.The only weight reduction is no front swaybar,No Pass. Seat,Floor mats & deck mat & Weld Pro Stars & the car only weighed 3265 lbs w/ out me in it thats seems wrong to me or is it right ? I thought these car weighed like 3600lbs w/ out a driver !!!!!!!!

I weighted my car at PBIR on Sunday, at the track rental. It was 3415 w/o me. I had a cooler that I weighted when I got home that was 28 lbs so it was 3,387. Mines a formula, no t-tops, cloth seats, power drivers seat, 6 spd, 12 bolt, sub frame connectors, bmr trans cross member, stock rims/tires except drag radials, 1/4 tank of gas. I removed spare, jack and front sway bar. I weight 265 so 3650 race weight.
On a previous scale I saw a couple of stock ss camaro leather t-tops's weight around 3,450 and a trans am WS6 slightly more. After market wheels make a big difference.

My car weighs 3360lbs. Deleted jack/spare, abs, rear seat assembly. I've also got longtubes/custom 3" y/stock catback, in replacing the stock manifolds/ypipe. And I've also added a fabricated 9" assembly with iron center section and 31 spline axles. 17x9 zr1's up front with 275 tires, and stock 16x8's in back with m/t et radials.
