Cammed LT1 results+100 shot
Went to Tristate Dragway yesterday to make some runs with the car. The weather was perfect for racing.
DA: 34
Car setup:
-355ci
-CAI
-1 3/4 longtube headers
-2 1/2" True Duals
-1.6rr's
-228/236 .592/.592 110lsa
-Performabuilt lvl 2
-Circle D 3600 stall
-LCA's
-26x11.50 M/T et streets w/skinny's, on prostar wheels
Weight Reduction:
-Spare tire/Jack
-Front sway bar
-A/C
-Rear seats
Best time on motor:
-60' - 1.81
-330 - 5.11
-1/8 - 7.89
-mph - 88.21
-1000 - 10.31
-1/4 -12.36
-mph - 109.99
Best time on 52N jet (100 shot):
-60' - 1.63
-330 - 4.64
-1/8 - 7.18
-mph - 96.41
-1000 - 9.38
-1/4 - 11.24
-mph - 120.91
I know my 60' times need work and the car needs more suspension but I'm pretty happy with the results overall. The car definately has much more in it with a little work

Very hard running LTX you got there. I'm especially impressed with your all motor times considering the high 60ft. You'd be flirting with 11s if you could get that down into the 1.6 range off the juice.
That thing has got to surprise the hell out of folks that snub their noses to the older 4th gens. You'll have a 10 second club banner with a little more work.

Nothing fancy really on my car, just a solid setup. Running in good DA helps a lot too. These LT1's are underrated by a lot of people but they can be pretty quick with a decent setup. I have all my mods listed in the op so if your buddy wants to copy it mod for mod he is welcome to lol.

Is it just me or is 110 a little low trap speed? I would expect more like 112-113 with that big of a cam in a 355. I trap that in my bolt on 3225lb race weight m6, any idea of your race weight? The nitrous times compared to the NA times show the 3.23s are holding you back alot considering you picked up a full 1.1 seconds and 11 mph on only a 100 shot, with a gear change and some more weight reduction I think you could see 10s on the 100 and high 11s or very very low 12s NA. What nitrous kit do you have? I just got my first kit and would LOVE to pick up 11mph and 1.1s on the 100.

an auto car is going to give up 2-3 mph to a stick car any day of the week in the 1/4 mile.
not to mention with a 3225lb rw, he is prob giving up 400lbs or roughly 4 mph to start with. you're comparing apples to oranges man. the car runs good for what it is. the extra 5cid will do nothing in terms of power.
