I'd be willing to bet that the truck is a 5.3, the times are very impressive considering all of the things that have not been touched yet.

Wow that's impressive, especially with the lack of bolt-ons.

A few more bolt-ons, stall, and it'll be pissing a lot of people off on the street lol (not that it probably already isn't)

I'm pretty sure it's a 5.3. You should hear the thing at idle. Sounds totally stock, you'd never know it could rip an 11. You could win a LOT of money with this thing. I shot a video but the guy in the other lane had N/T in his window so they turned the clocks off.

ya, funny you should say that. It was 3rd pass true street, After driving there from NY with it FULL of stuff, you would think the 30 mile cruise and 3 passes would be no big deal. But the belts came off on that pass? The main belt, that drives the whipple (6rib) came off but it was fine? Some how the AC belt got some damage and shredded itself, very fast on the pass and knocked the acc. belt off? So mike coasted with no PS or anything dash lights all lite up off the track. The truestreet tech guy was right there at the end of the track, and said he was DQ'ed. The new tech (but 10years at a dealership) from the shop chuck, gets there and says hes gona change the belts from going under the truck without popping the hood, that's in the rules.

If you've never looked at the truck pulley setup its a LOT taller then a car and the SC setup is even bigger. But he somehow did it, crawling up from the bottom and getting up between the radiator and front of the motor Trucks F T W
The NMCA tech guy liked that. And later had to confirm the hood was never popped with the LSX TS guys, that thought it would be DQ'd for sure.

I forgot how the truck did, that pass messed up the true street average. But the shop 2010 camaro won the 12.0 index by averaging exactly 12.000
