I bought a 98 trans am last year and did a few free moods to it and ran 13.84@102 best, rest of the passes were 14.1. This year I ran again with worse DA and ran 14.27@101. I replaced 2.73's with 4.10's and replaced stock muffler with two inline 6" bullets. Ran it again with some et streets and ran a few 13.80@101.8. Still a bad 2.1x 60'. The DA was not very good last night at all. Very humid and hot. I'm pleased with the outcome. It hit the Rev limiter a little bit on the 2-3 shift. I think with better DA, shift kit, and trans tune I can get it in the 13.5 range. One pass was a 13.95@101 and mph at 1000ft was 91 but was only 88 when I ran 13.8 hitting the limiter. I think it has more in it once trans is tuned right.

Definitely more there. A lot more in the good air this fall. If you want to see how much youre REALLY picking up, take DA out of the equation by correcting both passes to sea level. Always jacks with your head to see results so small but the conditions got far worse.

Very hot and humid, slowed down from my previous best back in Feb of 11.67 to my best Fri night of 11.94

Which trans am was yours? I think I saw a black one and a pewter one.

My favorite was the 2014 GT500 on drag radials running 13s

Haha yeah and then they had to push it back cuz it was running too hot and shut itself off.

Mine is black with black wheels. There was a black one with chrome wheels too. Idk what they were thinking

gotcha, yeah forgot there were 2, your car looks nice from what I saw I was busy running around when I wasn't racing so I didn't get to look at much up close

Thx it was pretty dirty. Didn't have time to clean it but it's a pretty clean car. Yeah I hear ya there
