New Personal Best Stock Internals
I've finally gotten a chance to do some more track tuning on my 01 Formula. The dyno can only get you so close, track tuning definitely pays off. Last night it seemed to like the cool air too. DA was right around sea level at the end of the night.

I think it would do closer to 350 with the converter locked. The clutch won't hold anymore, so it's all getting replaced when I do the engine this winter.

The dyno is only a starting point. It can never perfectly replicate what the car will do on the track. Shift points, fuel, and timing all took a little adjusting to find out what it likes.

That's a great track setup. You have to love what these cars can do.
Best I was able to get stock internal was a 11.9 but I only had a ss3600 with boltons on stock zr1 wheels. Everything else was stock.
Do you plan on taking any weight out? Taking weight of out my car proved to be very helpful on the track.

These engines are incredibly capable. For me growing up, stock and super stock were everything. So I learned real quick about using power efficiently. There's no sense in adding more more power if you're not using what it already makes. This car has always done a good job of advertising for us and bringing in tuning business.
It's going to lose over 100 lbs this winter, but it's not staying stock internals. I've picked up a sponsor that's going to help me come up with a very effective stock cubic inch, naturally aspirated, E85 combination.
Next winter it'll probably go on a real diet.

I'm confident it's possible even without removing AC, cruise, etc. I just have trouble finding time to get to the track or getting good air.
