2000 corvette cam+bolt ons 1/8th mile
First day out with my new setup. Headers full exhaust, btr stage 4 cam, yank ss 4000, Vararam, fast intake. Very happy for the first time out! Stock 3.15 gears

Try different launch RPMs. Mine seems to like 2500-3k at my current power, but others go anywhere from 2k-3k+.
Did you do the stall and cam at the same time? What were you at prior to the cam?
Do you know your raceweight?

I did them at the same time so im unsure of what it would've ran converter only. Also unsure of race weight. I tried stalling it high and could only get a 1.7 60 foot. On stock suspension and gears im decently happy with the 1.58. That was launching from 1500

1.58 is pretty good anyway. Play with it and drop some weight and it'll come down. You can weigh your car at any truck stop or recycling place.
Do the work yourself or did you go to CBI Streetcars? I'm thinking about having Chad do the work on mine vs me trying to wing it. I'm just south of Mt. Vernon.

Thanks, I know there's not much weight to be lost in a c5 while keeping it streetable. I'll play with my launch some but I figure it would be around an 11.4-11.5 in the quarter and is a good time for a cam only car

7.88 was its best. I think the car is only headers, y pipe, muffler dumped, converter of some sorts, not really sure to be honest, and 4.10 gears in a 9". Full weight even. I was pretty impressed with it.
Did you run against the camaro?
