well I didn't run 13.8s tonight like I had hoped.
I did however run a 13.7.
First couple of runs consisted of lots of knock retard and after we got the tune figured out, I ran my first 13. (crappy launch, 25psi)
R/T .557
60' 1.961
330 5.803
1/8 8.951
MPH 77.80
990 11.592
1/4 13.953
MPH 99.12
added some more timing, dropped rears to 23psi and got a decent launch considering the poor track prep.
R/T .359
60' 1.888
330 5.640
1/8 8.770
MPH 78.11
990 11.405
1/4 13.766
MPH 99.01
reminder: all mods listed in sig, stock motor, stock heads, stock cam, stock intake, valve covers have never been removed.
P.S. Many, many, many thanks go out to all the help I have received from all of my very good friends Tim(NJSPEEDER), Bill(foff667), Jon(FasterThanYou), Justin(Tru2Chevy), and anyone else who has helped me along the way. I could not have done it without you all.

Nice time man, but I'm a little confused. An LT1 has like 100 more hp and runs 14's right? What are your power adders? I read your sig but it doesn't make sense to me, can someone clear it up? I have the same engine....just wondering

craig's car is legit. it is just proff that if you take care of the chassis(BMR all over teh car), pick the right gears(4.10's), properly tune the pcm(thanks to foff667), and drop a "little" weight you can do great things.
the thing i always like to point out to people is that he is only on a 235/60-15 BFG DR. that is a little damn tire. people get caught up in putting the tire band aid on traction issues and they never realize how much et the extra rolling resistance and weight are costing them.
congrats craig, sorry i didn't get to see it happen. first round is on me at metro friday.

james, ive known of you for over 6 years now. and ive been dying to ask this for over 4 of thoes years ive known of you....have you figured out how to drive a 300 hp car yet? every one of your times states you were "spinning" either a, find a better track, b, learn how to hook a ~300 hp car with a 2600 stall. or c) have someone else drive it. last season my car had over 400 at the wheels, 4000 stall, trans brake, and a butt load more torque than you,. i hooked just fine

Nice runs little g. Get faster and change your name to big g.
And yeah, James honestly...screw with tire pressure or something on your tires. You should not be spinning as much as you say you do. You have 11's in that damn car, atleast I hope you do. Maybe you get crappy feedback from the sites you post on, but I like offering the truth, as does Zach. There's no reason why you shouldn't be dead hooking.
