Race report-Went to the semis. We raced at Lone Start Raceway this past weekend in the I-10 Series. Man was it HOT!!!! It was 102.5 in my tralier at 5:15 in the afternoon. I want to thank Madman and JBZ racecars for all y'alls help. We would not be on top of the points without y'all. Now for the details;
We were running 2 tech cards. 1st one is your track points card and both work for I-10 series points.
We made it to the 4th round on both cards. In the 4th round I won on the 1st points card but the 2nd one, I brokeout with a 6.889 on a 6.91(car running slower was due to it being over 100 degress until 7:15pm) the other guy ran 2 over. I got him on the tree .027 to his .067 but took to much stripe.
5th round I raced a real good racer. Jody Paker(has a couple of track championships) I cut a .032 light to his .036 light. I ran a 6.807 on a 6.83. He runs a 6.504 on a 6.53. This was a really close race. It felt good to findly come out on top in one of these tight races.
6th round was the semis. I cut the worst light of the day. a .076 (I know ya can't make a mistake in the money rounds)! to his .003. He runs a 11.35 on a 11.30 to my dead on 6.803 on a 6.80. Oh well thats bracket racin. To many more of these and Madman is going to fire me again.
We did move into 1st place in track points and the top 5 in the I-10 series points.
Big money this weekend at Lone Star Raceway. $600.00 to win Saturday and $1,000.00 to win on Sunday. Now in Top Et, it is $1,000.00 to win on Saturday and $10,000.00 to win on Sunday(Thats right, 10 grand on Sunday). I may just have to buy one tech card in top and try for the 10 grand.

dam coach, remind me not to bracket race against you 
. my cars consistant but not quite that good. congrats on getting the 1st in points, i think ima start up in the points stuff next season and try my luck, sounds like you have to much fun so i think i give it a shot

Congrats Coach.
It sound like you are on a tear this season. Keep up the great work. Makes me proud to see some late model F-body racers bracket racing. And people say bracket racing its fun. I think its just because they aren't good at it.

Great runs Coach! 
What really matters (IMHO) is that you are the points leader, all you have to do now is stay on top. If that Sunday race is with in your 'budget', I would say go for it! Good luck buddy.
