Yea I know there is another trend.
But I would actually like to thank the magazine for putting out a very nice piece on the Thunder Race. And especially to Randy from AC Promotions. I know that it originally was suppose to be in like the March/April edition, but the editor like the piece so much that it was expanded from 4-6 up to its present 9 pages.
There is a lot of cars that didn't make it for one reason or another. BUT some of us got in there twice . There is a lot of kick *** pictures and articles.
I enjoyed the trip down there last year, and am planning on going down again this year. -- Yea and get my *** handed to me again Tanner . Hope to have a little more for ya this year .

Page 75 is pretty tight. That is me in the car. LOL
210ft wheelie. with no damage when coming down. There is a pic a few pages later of hte car going 1.27 60ft with an ET of 9.23@149......It is a good pic also. Ohio boys went a 1.18 60ft. WOW
Thanks Randy for the good pics of the thunder shootout.

Read that issue that Thunder piece made me
The fast cars around here just don't understand how much potential the LS1 cars have. I was at a local car roll in just this Friday and was talking to a guy with a 2004 bone stock vette and was running through my mods and he replied, "Well you car may just be a bit faster than mine..." Man I almost lost it............. This area is way behind the times let me tell you........ Want to get to a place where I can talk about other things besides Edlebrock intakes and Holley carbs and upgrading to electric fans.
I may go down with a buddy this fall, I will be the guy driving down with everything in the car, will probably sleeping in it also....!!

I got mine in the mail thursday, and they really did have great coverage of that event. They also bumped it up from I believe 6 to 8 issues a year now, and they keep getting thicker. GMHTP definitely seems to keep getting better as the months go by. Well worth the subscription price IMHO.
