Default End of points season last night: I made #1 again!

Somehow I managed to keep my cool (I thought damn racing and points all week to add extra pressure) and won the 1st round to lock up my 2nd track championship in footbrake over a tough field of guys (including the guy who finished #2 to me last year; he finished 3rd). I lost second round by going -.003 red to a guy who won the entire race, as well as the king of the track Wally, as he also red-lighted (but I left first). So I have the NHRA Division 2 E.T. Finals at South Georgia Motorsports Park Oct 13th through 15th. Come say hi if you happen to be there

Hope everyone had a good weekend of racing!

Derek

Thanks for all the comments.

Coach: best of luck to you this weekend! let us know how it goes!

Frank: I met Manny Sousa many years ago at an E.T. Finals, and some things never change (like the color of his fairmont) I know he is a good racer, and he'll be a tough one this year. I know he did well in the stocker he ran last year, but apparently didn't forget how to bracket race either as he took home the street track championship from Bradenton Motorsports Park in south FL.

Thanks for the comment, but believe me if you came to visit G-ville, a few people could easily take my place every week! The good thing about that is it makes you be on your game!

And about the it's easy, you just hold the wheel straight...

Me being on my game is not red lighting . I guess Orlando is about the same for bracket racing theres about 10 guys in sportsman that just kill you on the tree, thats why I only run brackets in Lakeland better chance.
