Default The track after 1.5 years. (pics, dyno, and track times)

I finally had a little extra time to put some stuff together. The setup is
13.5:1 CR, solid roller, Dart headed, Iron 412 with a sheetmetal intake. TH400 with a Fab 9in (3.89 gears and a 325/50/ drag radial. Here is the dyno of the car N/A....we were tunning on the car while on the dyno so the torque number is not very high since I was hitting it at 70+mph.

The car weighs in at 3025lbs with me in it. Off the trailer completely setup for the bottle it ran a 6.44@106 then I bettered it with a 6.42@108.9 with a 1.45 60ft on both. The tranny will not allow the rpms to pull past 6K in 1st gear. It just laid over and wouldn't pull through it. When I shifted the car picked up right away (hard). I have already talked with my tranny guy and hopefully can get it taken car off easily. I ran the 1/8 mile out in 2nd gear at 8100 rpms on the second pass. I am thinking it should run a 6.2x with a high 1.3 60ft. We were unable to run the car more then 2 times, unfortunatley. We wanted to add some timing and adjust suspension and tire pressure more but didn't get to. Again that was just off the trailor. I have 2 300 foggers on this motor..........should be fast with both of them on. LOL.....here is the picture of the motor but I was not near done when this was taken.

Maybe if they allow me to have a sheetmetal intake with a single fogger for a non forced induction EFI nitrous setup........if they allow it then yes. If not then I will race Mark's car in true street. In fact I will probably race his anyway. I like Mark's car and I don't want to give up on making that car run some 5s on the 28/11.5/ ET Street.

"Nasty Performance" intake and valve covers, with a acufab 105 TB....That intake flows better then any of them I have heard about. I sent the intake to get it port matched along time ago at CNC in Florida. He said that is one of the best ones he has seen. LOL He said that the heads will always be the restriction.

My goal is a 5.2x but I might be able to go alittle faster. I don't want to get my hopes up to high. I am going to try and get a 6.20 out of it this weekend but I am not sure if I can get out to the track. I am having to switch over to a 16 volt setup. My little ol batter cant keep up with all the electronics in the car and start the 13.5:1 motor. LOL I don't have alot of time to work on it so it might get done and might not. I already have the battery, box, alternator, and charger so it is just the time to put it in.

It has been kinda fun to actually drive the car and not have so many problems. I hate hurrying up and then up f-ing stuff up. It is hard to be patient for the bottle though. LOL..Soon enough I will be spraying 300 by itself. Futral and Cam motion said my cam will really shine on 300 or more. That it is not as efficient without atleast that much. we will see soon enough.

Wondering where Joe (********) Dimock is hideing her. I'll probably never see that car again. The shame of it is, nobody else will either. Crazy old ****** . I hope the TWC or IRS gets his *** , I'll do everything in my power to help them do so.
