Default mid 13s?

alright, well i posted a thread a week or so back stating my times in my bone stock t/a. the car ran a 13.8 @ 101. i wasnt quite satisfied with that, so..this week ive done:

a tune(ngks w/ msd wires,fuel filter)
slp lid
slp loudmouth 1 c/b

hopefully ill be able to make it up to e-town after work on friday. after just doing this small stuff, im hoping to be doing 13.4s to 13.5s...you guys think these are realistic times?
ill post back w/ some results

thanks

I had the same, slp lid, loudmouth on BFG DR and ran a consistant 13.5 in a 2001 Z28. I know it definatly had a 13.3 or 13.4 or run in her but never could get it.

Making it stick on launch would help. That car has got plenty of power for 12's. The F-bodies are lacking in the durable rearend and stock suspension pieces being capable of making its own power work for the better 1/4 mile numbers.

x2, work on your launch... getting a 2.1 60ft on a bog launch will produce completely different times from a 2.1 60ft on a slight wheelspin launch... (I slip the clutch from ~2200rpm to get my best results).....

Default times

i got to the track last night and ran a 13.52 @ 103.1
my tires are gripping just fine, but now my trans i just had completely redone for $1600 threw a code for a "transmission mis-shift"..basically the car wont engage into 3rd...but i did pick up 2mph trap.
it never ends, now this week ill take it to my trans guy and we'll see what can be done.

thanks guys

Glad to see you got the number you were looking for! What was the weather like? Some nice cold weather will make a huge difference. Also what, what were your 60' times for your best and previous best runs?
