Default Strange shocks

I was looking to get the rear setup first and was going to go with the da version. Fot drag racing would it be fine to just go with the sa since I am sure I will play with the adjustments some and most likely leave it alone at one setting. I am by far no suspension guru so maybe less adjustment would be better?? I just don't want to over do it but at the same time I do not want to skimp on anything either. Is there any advantages for being able to adjust the rebound for the track on the rear section of the car anyway? Again not a suspension guy so please be gentle. Thanks in advance.

I am sure either set will be nice just not sure which is recommended for drag setup. I am not worried about it on the street. I mean look at what I am running now. Lowering springs with 11 year old factory shocks.

If your budget warrants it, choose double adjustable over single. You'll have much more control over your suspension. As you mentioned, either style will be an improvement over your old shocks.

Give us a call if you need more help. As you already know, we have them listed in our suspension section: http://www.sjmmanufacturing.com/cam_sus_ls1.html#Shocks

.

I was taught a SA shock was designed for a 4 link. The DA has control over compression & extension.
Some cars do not need an equal valving. My ladder bar car needs a much quicker extension & a much firmer compression,
then my 4 link cars. Worth the money, do it once, do it right.

Every car has a sweet spot, mush easier to find with a DA. Good luck.

As with single adjustable you have extension control, the double adjustable allows you to control compression as well. This gives you more control over the whole range of motion.
