Steve, can you post some "larger" pics of this part? I went to your website http://www.burkhartchassis.com/id83.html and the pic is so small that I just can't tell very much about it. I would also like to know if the bracket supports the bumper at the top and the bottom. And does it eliminate all the stuff that goes behind the bumper? The price you guys are asking is fair, probably cheaper than I can make it myself, but I need a little more information about it... Sorry if I'm being a PITA but I'm very interested in this part.

There are a lot of larger pics in this forum. All I have are web size shots. It will remove the factory stuff behind the bumper. we have struts that run up to the to and support the nose better than what you have now. On the bottom there is a bar that runs inside the nose and supports it there. We recommend cutting off the flap at the bottom. It is not needed.
If I had 5 orders for a rear suport we could make one. We had a TON of people scream for the LT1 Camaro support and have sold 2.
Do you just want the wiring kit or the on/off switxh too?

Wire kit is 98.00.
Not sure if the rear support is universal or not. Just a guess but I think it would come in under 10#s it we use tight tube. I would want at least 2 struts to connect to where the factory push pins are. Maybe all 4.
We have a bolt in chute mount already. Give us a call and we can get you set up.

I think $314 it too expensive.... just my opinion. for the materials and time it takes to make them, most people that would be interested or at that level of performance would be able to fab something up for next to nothing.
not bashing..... just my opinion of why you have only sold 2

Aside from the labor, we have costs that you may not think about. Machinery, power, tooling, shop supplies, advertising, insurance and so on. Oh, we also need a place to keep all this stuff dry and secure.
So yeah, you could build a part for less if you look only at material cost. This holds true for about anything. I would bet that if you factored in the true cost you would be much higher than 314.00.
