Question M6 60' troubles, suggestions please

I'm having a heck of a time getting my car to run any faster than a 1.85 60'. Fastet ever 60' on my current set-up was 1.79, but that was only once. 95% of the time it 60s in the 1.85-1.90 range. The car is a '96 Z28, M6, with a Strange S60 w/4.30s. Fastest time to date was 11.88 @ 118. Car weighs 3560 with me in it. Suspension set-up is as follows:

UMI adj panhard bar
UMI single adj lcas
Midwest chassis adj torque arm
Midwest chassis lca relo brackets
comp eng 3-way drag shocks (set on 50/50)
eibach sportline springs in the rear.

Front susp is all stock except for the eibach springs. Rear tires are 295/45 17 MT drag radials (27" tall). Wheels are 17x9 10-spoke SS wheels.

This last time before I headed to the track, I adjusted the Instant center on the torque arm up two holes, and reset the pinion angle back to -2. I was hoping that by raising the IC, it wouldn't hit the tires as hard coming out of the hole as it was at the ltxshootout, but instead what I got was it spinning clear through first, almost no matter how I launched it. I tried several different ways, from a quick dump of the clutch at 3500 (which resulted in a bog..then spin) to slipping the clutch at 4500 (which resulted in more spinning)

As of right now, my plan of attack before my next track outing is as follows:

1. Ditch my 17s and drag radials. I've got a set of draglites that'll be going on it, 15x3.5 and 15x10s with Hoosier 27x11.5 QTPs.

2. Replace my front struts/springs with either QA1 R's of Strange SA with a 300lb spring. I'm thinking weight transfer is alot of my problem, this should help tremedously.

3. Adj my IC on the torque arm back down one hole and reset my pinion ang back to -2. I think I may have went too high with the IC, causing a spin in first no matter what.

4. ??? I'm open to any tips or suggestions, I would really like to see this car go at least 11.50s on the motor before I spray it

A few vids...thie first vid is of my best 60 to date: 1.79. The other vids are all pretty much of it spinning while trying diffent launch techniques

Getting a good bias-ply tire under the car helped my 60' times the most so far. I couldn't 60' better than a 1.9X with 315 Nitto DR's. Are you still running the front sway bar?

I think that along with the Hoosier QTPs may be the key...

having the same problems with our midwest chassis fab 9, but we have steps 1-4. qtp's, qa1's with 300lb springs, launching anywhere from 5000-7000 rpm it just wont get off the line. at all. best 60' is a 1.71.

so UP on the holes in the front of the TA will move IC rearward, correct?

I'd also ditch the Sportlines in the rear too and put the stockers back in.

The way I understood, raising the front of the TA moves IC forward....
