Default 1/4 Question

Ok... Th400 , 4.11 gears , 28" slicks... Will it make it through the 1/4 mile ??

If the car doesn't trap anymore than 120 you'll be fine. At 6500 RPM with the setup in the first post you'll be at 120 mph at 6500 rpm in third

I don't know... It runs 6.50's at 105 in the 1/8 th..

Judging by this.. no.. you will hit the limiter at 6500, b/c you will probably go 130 in the 1/4, and definitely over 120

i.m going through the traps at 7000rpm with a 28" tall drag radial the 3 speed with a 8" converter at 127mph.

Hmmm... Stock bottom end so I dont want to spin it that high... might switch to 3.73 gears..

Depends on power level, but if your trying to keep the setup a secret, I understand but again the biggest varible is what the % of slippage your converter has, as that will eat up precious RPM on the top end.

PM JL-ws6 as he a wealth of knowledge on the Th400 and still wanting me to swap but I think a Drag bar, R series shocks and a swap to a 4.30 and a Spool is hardcore enough for me
