I have tried Hoosier QTP out and they work great and the M/T ET Streets also work great.

Used both, not in back to back testing though. The Hoosier DRs seem a little bit stickier but do NOT last as long as the MT DRs.

Iv used MTs and Hoosier Radials. The 325 Hoosiers are better I think than the MTs and lighter.. Side Stepping the clutch at 6 getting 1.7 60s..could have done better with more seat time..

I now have MT ET Streets (bias plys) and they work!!

I have ran both tires. I normally run MT radials 275/60/15 at the track and cut consistent mid to high 1.4's. I also have a set of Hoosiers radials for my street setup 315/35/17 and they hooked so well I went with the Hoosier radials for the strip now. I chose the Hoosiers for the strip not because they they really hooked better they are both great tires but the Hoosiers performed well and are lighter weight than the MT's. Also I have not been back to the track yet with the new Hoosiers 275/60/15 so I can't really compare apples to apples but if the 17's hooked that well I don't see why the bigger tires would be any different.

Here is a pick of the car cutting a 1.46 on the 17in Hoosier radials.

Hoosier by far in terms of traction and an all out drag tire....they wear out quick on the street though naturally

apples to apples, the hoosier is lighter and more "forgiving" than the M/T (less cords in the sidewall), especially on a hot track I've been told. They are also lighter due to the less cords, but they wear out MUCH quicker. I've only run the M/T 275/60/15, and gone 1.39 in a stock suspension leaf spring 3600 pound car I drive to the track.

I am in the same boat, I have had only experience with Mickey Thompson tires. I want to try out the 275/60/15s Hoosier DR's for my 15s and use them strictly for track use. I have gone the best of 1.47 60ft on 275/40/17 Mickey drag radial mounted on my stock wheels and went multiple 1.48-1.49 60fts as well. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with either tire.

No problem.

I was running Bogarts RR wheels in back and Centerline Qualifiers up front.

I ran the ET and 60-ft in my sig on 16" Hoosier DR's in my TA. As mentioned above the Hoosier's are lighter and definitely wear out faster if you drive on the street. Raceweight is 3,560-lbs.

BADHAWK51-Nice picture.

Thanks Mike,

The MT radials work well with the auto guys but not as good with the manual cars. The Hoosiers have a little softer sidewall that helps with the manual cars.
