14's normal?
Hi all! Just went to the track last night and never got out of the 14's and only topped 100 a few times. I'm not happy at all with this and it just doesn't seem right for my car. However I was at Atlanta Dragway and did have to drive the whole way there(about an hour and a half for me)and it was VERY humid outside. It just seemed like I didn't have the top-end power I should have my RT's were quick and my 60's were in the steady 2.1 to 2.2 range. Any suggestions please? It's really bugging me because I know I should be in the 13's below is a list of my mods.
Hooker Comp LT's
ORY
Lid w/ K&N Filter
SLP LM1
Bilstein Shocks
BMR Panhard bar and a few other BMR Suspension parts
160 degree thermostat
Vengeance Racing tune
Tires: Rear Nitto NT05's 295/35R18

Yeah you should be in the low, low 13s. I run at SGMP in Valdosta and my times are about 3 tenths off in this weather. I would say in this weather you should be a minimum of 13.5. Post up your slip or at least a break down of it, include mphs at 1/8 and 1/4.

times are not the best for sure, Friend of mine just had his 100% stock 2001 Z28 at the track yesterday (92degree weather)went 13.5s-6s at 102-103 on 2.1 -2.0 60ft, with the traction control on. Do you have any kind of tune in the car??

It is an A4 stock to my knowledge. The owner before me did a few mods but I think they were all appearance. And yes it has been tuned by Ron at Vengeance Racing
I'll break down my best slip right now and try to post them all up later:
R/T .196
60' 2.125
330 6.015
1/8 9.144
MPH 79.78
1000 11.791
1/4 14.03
MPH 99.78
Also this run and all others were made with the car just in drive not over drive but not shifting myself

Some things that are killing you:
HEAT... Its gonna slow you down
Tires in heat, you may be spinning off the line, but hard to say with the 60ft, that is a stock 60ft time
Stall, your stock stall is the bigest killer, get a good aftermarket one, and watch your ET drop
I would also check that tune, my Z in the sig with mods did a 13.04 in high heat, and that was on a handheld tune.

looks like she is kind of weak between the start and 1/8...
how many miles on the car?
IMO sounds like the tranny is lazy...for the mods you have 12 second slips shouldnt be a problem, down here in the south anyway, even in this weather low-mid 13s shouldnt be a problem

people think LS1 go 12s stock because they do. with just a lid and a catback running a nitto 555r i pulled consistant low 12s with my best being 12.36. everything else was stock. on stock f1 rubber first time to the track i pulled 13.20 and it was hot
i know you were in the high heat and humidity but with your mods you should be in the 12s for sure. you need to work on that launch and maybe consider getting some 16s with some 245 rubber for the track if you want to go fast. 2.2 is not going to cut it.
what is your alt?
