Newbie LT1 guy Needs some advice
Purchased a LT1 94camaro a few months back 305cc, with 1.6rr, red lt1 intake, factory gear n trans., air foil, funct. ram air, Borla exhaust, and a tune car ran 13.74 with a slight stumble and stock tires on it! Since then i changed to a 3400 edge conv., 3.73 gears, and had a new tune done now the stumble is gone!! but the car only ran a 13.52@100mph! Thinking bout changing my Signature to it Sounds Good, it Looks Good but its SLOW!! All i wanted was a low 12sec, natural aspirated car to play with until i finish school next year!! on a budget now. plus i c guys claim they running all these great times with stock motors and gears! help what am i doing wrong?

First, What is 305cc?
2) Take the air foil out.
3) I wouldnt put a 13 sec pass in your sig. Wait till you dip in the 12's or something.
4) pics requested of the car and motor.
5) is the red LT1 intake an edelbrock intake or just a regular intake?
I would try to remove as much weight as I could. Read the sticky at the top for that info.
MOST<<< Note I said most, guys that are running those times are with LSX motors. They have done some to all of the bolt ons and most have had a good dyno tune by a professional. There are lots of fast cam only cars out there but they did a lot more than just cam only. They have lots of suspension, weight loss, lots of time spent tuning etc.....
It is my personal advice that you put a nitrous shot on the car to put it where you want it. It would be the cheapest most effective way.

I THINK you mean CC350 (Comp Cam 305) Camshaft. If it is, let me know. Would make sense with the intake and cam update. Does the car have a LT4 heads, or is it just a powder coated LT1 intake.
Have you asked your tuner to remove the STALL WALL issue with ODBI 94/95 PCMs.
WHat happens is the car automatically goes to 3rd and stays there and then resets after you shut the car off a wait a few minutes.
BUT with a gear, stall, Heads Cam set up, you should be WAAAAAY into the 12's if not in the 11's.

N20 conversion kit\plate?
Just read email from the guy i bought it from its an 355ci, told him its still slow but im working on it! I had a 9sec drag truck it was a trailer queen. i needed a DD but love goin 2 the local track so i bought this to pacify me till may 2011!! I have a Big Shot N20 kit i was using on it is there an conversion kit to work with the lt1?

Cool guess i will purchase nozzle any suggestion?Which one? I already have a tune on it and as soon as weather in Louisiana lets up my tuner will take another stab at it. will ask about removing the wall thingie mentioned above.also gonna replace Lower control arms, torque arm and either drag radials or slicks when i go back!!

there is somthing wrong with the car if its only trapping 100 mph. do you have any ses lights. was the tune a dyno tune. if so wats your afr. something diff wrong. i trapped 108 with boltons and 3.42 gear

Stock tires were you spinning?

I recall a 1.82 60ft that night and its really humid this time of year here. the trans seems fine it shifts ok as A DD the only thing i usually keep it in regular D till hwy speed then manually shift to OD because it kicks down between OD andD around 45-50mph. plus thats the spot my exhaust sounds sooo swweet!!

That was my best 60ft as the nite went on the track kinda went away not just for me but others as well. but still 1.8 even if i had a 1.4-1.5 thats still only low 13s plus Ive drag raced for yrs i played with my launch rpm/shift pts tryin to make car leave/run a lil better but it only got worse as night went on. So yes it was spinning.

1.4 1.5 is not a 13 second pass if everything is working as it should. That should be an 11 to a 10 sec pass. Im basing that off of what I have read on here. Sounds like its your 60ft that is screwing you. Even still though your car isnt picking up much time on the big end of the track. Something isnt right. I would look at getting a tune before I did anything else. Youre pretty much running stock times with a modded car. Im not trying to be rude or anything im just being honest.

Naw im ex military i can never be offended when someone is givin constructive critisism!! It can only make me better! No harm done and i agree with u so i will change my stock LCA and Torque Arm this week and try and schedule a tune as soon as i get a chance. Thanks for the patience and knowledge shared!! Hope to return the favor one day!
