so what are you guys doing with the ends of the wires that you are cutting off? im guessing just pull the fuses. can i simply cut everything back or remove it completely for anything not being used? also what is the flat connector in the rear on the drivers side? it has never been plugged in to anything. i was thinking that the harness is the same as that of a convertible and this harness was for the pump but i am not sure. thanks for the help it is appreciated.

^^ I was slow. haha
ya, cd is the flat 2 row plug with the wires all taped up 100% with no loom.
that metal cover, is over the connector that gose under the car as said. Has 3 main connectors.
ABS wires, 3 or 4 channel.
Evap-, rear noild, and fuel presser.
Fuel pump, one wire is the fuel gauge.
driver side of the car, (up to the hatch- is dome light, defrost (heavy pur wire), 3rd brake light), to the rear- tail lights, hatch release, speakers.
passenger side, radio (lots of wiring stock) theft shock senor (BCM), antenna (?power) an. wire) speaker wires.

So you just chopping them off where they "t" into the harness and leaving them if you are not tracing them all the way out? How about the big harness that plugged into the abs block?
