Default 12.62 @114.72 fast for these bolt-ons?

I've had a few people asking me how I've managed to run the time in my sig with the mods I have.
Here's my car
2000 Formula M6 Hardtop
Custom Ram Air, K&N, Whisper Lid, Fernco coupler, Hooker LT's uncoated, Hooker ORY-pipe, Dynomouth, BMR tubular SFC's
It's internally stock with the stock limiter, no tuning with Edit etc.

60' 2.06 1/4 12.62 @114.72mph

Only weight reduction at the time was spare/jack and passenger seat/rear seat which weighed 30-35lbs. Looking at the numbers I would have still ran a 12.6x even with the seats in and still trapped over 114mph. This was on stock 16x8 rims all around with Kumho 712 street tires.

Does this seem extraordinarily fast?

That's because it's a blue green chameleon 2000 Formula .
Mines an A4 and is fast for it's mods too.
Totally stock motor with cast iron manifolds.
Lid, ORY, Loudmouth, and converter. On slicks.

I know the 12.6 isn't fast at all for a 6-speed, the people doubting were mainly concerned with the almost 115mph trap speed.

That was my point. If I can run 111.80 with a big converter (supposed to cost some MPH) automatic (supposed to cost some MPH) on ET streets (supposed to cost some MPH) still running thru the stock exhaust manifolds. Then almost 115 for a stick car on radials with headers isn't a stretch at all.

12.6-12.5 is quick for a 'bolt on' Fbody with exhaust. The trap speed is believable....I've trapped 113-114 and ET'd 12.7-12.6 on drag radials full weight BEFORE a cam. Now with a cam 114-117+

The ET is pretty decent and that will improve with some traction. The MPH is about right for a bolt-on car with the mods you have done.

ummm are you guys serious? I see him doing EXTREMELY well... almost 115mph without a cam! Damn!
To me it seems like you've made it into the 02+ Z06 performance range with just headers and bolt ons? that cant be right... sounds too good to me.. I say you should be really happy!

Im hoping to trap 115mph with my 224/224 114 cam and kooks headers! If your numbers are right then you should be able to trap 117-118mph with your cam (and its a small one too!). What do you currently dyno at?

I dont know how good Kumho 712s are but i dont think they're better than nitto drags when it comes to the 1/4 mile.

Are you power shifting? You need to strap that thing on the dyno... I sure hope your not running lean as hell.

man i gota go race my car now and see what it can do... too bad the f-ing clutch needs to break in first

with out my any sus mods just my boltons (no headders) and nittos i ran a consistant 12.6 at 111 mph (with little wheel spin) and my car weghed 3640 without driver OR THE ADDED WEIGHT OF MY NEW LARGER WHEELS and im an auto , and i live in fl , although it was like 50 deg when i did it , ive tried since in the 80's and i can get consistant it a 12.8 but the runs were all about the same 60ft 2.03 0-60 4.506 qtr 12.6 at 111.5 but the new runs had me pulling crappy 60 ft of 2.2 somethin which just basically says i cant hook up im guessing with the return of the hot air the humdity is crapping out my launches ... all hopefully this garage full of suspension parts will help out but im pritty confident that on the 12.6 night i coulda done better beacouse i had a moderate ammount of wheel spin still (stalled to 2000) shoulda left arround 1500-1800

Dyno'd 3 pulls on a superflo dyno.
1) 316
2) 325
3) 334

I think if I had done one more pull it would have topped out in the 340rwhp range. I still have the stock MAF, TB, and LS1 intake also, so those will be the places I upgrade next. My 1/4 mile times were in cold weather (~35 degrees) also.

You are doing very well for a 2000. For an '01 or '02 running in a low DA (cold, low humidity, low altitude) I'd say you'd be about right.

DAMN!. This guy has an 01 with 4.10 gears and a cutout and he is as fast as you are!
I would guesstimate that based on the fact his 60" was 1.8 and your doing 2.0s "FAST LS1"! I would assume if you got a 1.8 60 you would of done just the same.

I guess you really have a fast LS1

Dont be too happy now

hmmmm maybe i should try racing in 30F from now on...

you can expect a max of a .15 gain in et for every .1 drop in 60 ft.
my mph was the same from 12.8 to 12.3 just lost some 60 ft times.
