Car is Sold: Need to spread some thanks
I know this doesn't really belong in this section but most of the people I know come to this section.
I decided to sell the car a couple months ago ... for various reasons, among them is that I raced once in two years, wasn't driving the car much and I was getting a little bored with it. But I guess the final decision came down to the fact that I wanted a different car. I toyed with getting a late model C5 convertable but in the end we decided as a family that we'll sell the T/A, invest the money and wait for a good deal to come along on the next project car. We are doing an addition to the house that includes a shop, so the timing for a new project will be perfect.
Anyway, the old timers here know the trials and tribulations I have been through but even through the hard times searching for speed there were two constants. That is why I wanted to take the opportunity to thank Alan Futral and Angie & Geoff w/ Thunder Racing for the past six years of automotive excitement. Both shops contributed a lot to my quest for speed. I know I helped their bottom line at times but I always felt that I got what I paid for never left disappointed. I can't say enough how much I respect their abilities, honesty, integrity, craftsmanship and most of all friendship for the past six years.
All in all I have enjoyed the LS1 community immensly and have made some life long friends through the purchase of a 99' Trans Am. How often can you say that a purchase has changed your life for the better?
I am not going away, I will still moderate and participate on this board if PSJ and 9ball will have me. I plan on an LS1 project when I get the next car but in the mean time happy motoring everyone.

sorry to see you lose the t/a, but i'm sure the bug will have you buying a new (and probably faster) project soon enough. Good luck on the addition, and get something cool to fill it with

Does this mean that 2 toof hookers won't be chasing after you no more?

I was sad to hear the car was sold, but I know you have plans for another LS1.
You and your car are the big reason why I got so into the LS1 performance scene. The first mod I ever did was your old B&M Ripper shifter (which I still have). Thanks for helping me install it.
