Battery Cutoff Switch Location
Where did you guys mount your cutoff switch in the trunk? I have the push/pull type from summit and I'm not sure the best place to mount it. Any pictures would be appreciated.

Has anyone ran the kill switch by drilling out one of the tail lights? My thought is that on the street, I could use an unmodified tail light and not use the switch but when going to the track, I could put in the tail light with the drilled hole for the switch. I know some were talking about doing this but has anyone actually done it?
Does it have to be a push/pull switch to be NHRA legal or could I used this type of switch right but right on the tail light itself:

Whenever I mount mine it will be in a similar way as this guy did. Not sure where I'll place it exactly but with the switch inside you can just pull the rod off for street duty and put it back on when you need it.

Dont know if NHRA or NDRA require it, but other venues you have to have a emergency sticker by the switch.. it has to show its electrical and which way to manipulate it..
But I spend way more time at the road race track than the drag strip...

Some pics still work on this thread also. The rod is nothing fancy and would take under a min to put on and off. https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...ct-switch.html
