I run 26 x 10.5 x 16 ET streets and I have a M6 and 4.10's. My typical burn out is as followed: 12PSI Tire Pressure, drive through the water and pull just a foot or two forward of the water, engage line lock, rev it to 4K rpm (in 2nd gear) and drop the clutch, when you start seeing smoke let off the like lock and mat the gas until you hear it "chirp" or grab then line up and stage to the 2nd light. Rev it to 6K RPM and side step the clutch when the last yellow comes on. I've got like 3-4 year old ET streets and consistantly cut 1.70's on them, my raceweight is 3750 (HEAVY) with a 216/220 cam only and it runs 12.1 @ 113. Hope that helps.

Do not side step the clutch . that will cause the car to bog. I launch at around 6400 rpm's and I let the clutch up fast. you want to ride it for a split second. I cut between 1.47 and 1.52 60's all day long. I am also running 4.10 gears with a 6 speed

I've tried to ride the clutch when I launched but it did not have any better effect on 60' times than just side-stepping it. I'm using a Mcleod Single disk with Mcleod Master, and a steel flywheel.
bspz28 are you running an alum flywheel or something, maybe it works better with an alum flywheel vs the steel one.

Deffinately burn off in 2nd gear. I'm currently installing a line lock because the "Dump clutch, stab break" works for 1st gear, but will bog 2nd gear. 1st gear DEFFINATELY doesn't get the tires hot enough. 10-12psi with a LONG 1st gear burn off and i still get spin out of the hole.
